In Search of the New Normal

These are turbulent times for many major institutions. The Euro, the financial markets and capitalism are just a few examples of ideas that have increasingly been called into question in the wake of the financial crises.

As a result, the future, which until recently appeared rather stable, is now much harder to forecast. Winds of change are blowing full force and no one knows for sure what the landscape will look like once the storm settles.

What is the new normal – the new state of equilibrium; what will it take to get there, and will the changes be for better or worse? These are some of the questions dealt with in this abstract from the Kairos Future Club-report In Search of The New Normal.
