The Future of Business Transformation

Technology is the prime driver of progress, transformation and improvements. To better understand the status and prospects of business and IT transformation in the Nordic today, Tieto commissioned Kairos Future to research the field and write a report on the Future of Business Transformation. The report is the result of a combination of business research, a series of interviews and roundtable discussion with top executives and a survey of 500 Nordic executives. Furthermore, the report was developed in close collaboration with Tietos clients and experts, and will be an essential part of the foundation for Tieto’s future transformation programs.

Business transformation is evident across all industries: the combination of new technologies and the opportunities they create will change the way we work and how industries function. Not only will these technologies make doing business more effective, but they will also enable entirely new business models. technology trends such as mobile, social, M2M, big data and cloud are rapidly changing the ways in which we do business. A full third of respondents expect their industries to completely transform by 2020.
