The tourism industry and the generational shift. Time is an asset of scarcity and we are expected to fit in more and more into our daily schedule both at work and privately. The working generation of tomorrow demands life quality. Balance between work and leisure is increasingly important. Can these contradictory trends be combined? Will the generations of tomorrow make their voices heard or will they have to adapt to existing standards? We analyze data from Kairos Future’s different international surveys on values and lifestyles of different generations and try to understand coming generations, both as an employee and as a traveler.
